Board Games Winners

The scoreboards for the board games have been open for a couple of days while Chobots got their brains working hard again while mastering the games. The Sliders, Chess, and Checkers were the three games used during this competition. There has been many Chobots playing these games, but only the top three won a prize. Now, it's time to announce the winners!

Fashion Show Today!

Alyssa has called for a fashion show event today as it is one of her favorite things to do on Chobots! She and some of the other staff members will be hosting the fashion show.

The show will happen on Saturday, August 31st at 3:30 pm Cho-time. Wow! That's only a few minutes away. The staff will meet us at Cafe Street then we will be moved to one of the staff member's houses to have the fashion show! I'm so excited for this, I wish everyone good luck.

New Items in the Shop!

The clothing catalogs have finally been refreshed with five new items! Three of them are Junior items(for everyone), and two are for Citizens.

There are some pretty cool items in here. I like the beach ball the most because of how colorful it is! The Girl Hair is finally in the shop, it was rained at the black & white party, only in the gray color though. Also, who wouldn't want to be Peter Pan?! His costume is in the shop now too! The Hoodie would go great with some other clothes. The Chobots Team reminds you that you can send your item designs to artwork@chobots.net! I really like the new clothes. September Journalists Wanted

Recently the Chobots Team has announced that they are looking for September Journalists. In this Journalist Program, you have to fit the requirements, but you also get rewarded with many things within the game. The requirements are:

•     Your blog should be at least one month old and updated weekly.
•     The posts on your blog must be your own and creative. You may not copy from other blogs or websites.
•     Images found on the Official Blog may be used in your posts.

Not to hard to follow, right? It's mostly about being original and active. So now that the requirements are out of the way, here are the rewards:

•     Your blog will be featured on the play page
•     Journalist badge on your playercard with the title of your blog, along with an exclusive playercard
•     In the beginning of the month, one free week of Citizenship
•     Invited to an exclusive mailing list to receive information of upcoming events, future features and news before anyone else
•     You will receive the exclusive feather item automatically
•     You will be invited to write one blog post here on the Official Blog
•     The ability to contact a moderator through PC, even when their card is blocked
•        Your blog will be bookmarked by the Moderators
•     Your website will be featured on the Official Blog's blogroll
•    A purple nametag 

Those are awesome rewards! Journalists are great to have within a community, they actually help the community grow. New Chobots can visit their blogs and learn more about the game. I noticed that the Chobots team has actually stopped looking for new Journalists in the middle of the month now, it's way more organized. I'm going to be applying for journalist, I hope I get it this month!

Back to School Party - Today!

That's right! In celebration of going back to school, the Chobots Team has planned a Back to School party! It'd be a great way to kick off the new school year.

The Chobots team has announced that there will be a Summer Story contest! This contest is so you can show what you did over the summer. There is three templates you can use:

You must include in your submission one event you did over the summer and a brief description of what you did at that event.

Shop Restock

Today when I went to check out the shop I noticed that there has been a change in items! These items are selling really fast, they look pretty awesome too. Joining these items is the famous Teddy Bear and Griffon wings.

To be honest, I was hoping for a different magic to be added to the Shop as I don't really like the current Egyptian Magic. Also joining these new items are some new bodies.

Recap: Music Jam [Chobots Team Version]

Tiktiki posted on the Chobots blog today about the Music Jam! She talked about how there was colors, magic, and lots of songs. Chobots like Josh and his band were able to play songs for us using their instruments, which was pretty interesting to see.

Lastly she told us who won the best outfit contest! The winners were hard to choose she said, but they were able to find three winners worthy of prize for sure.

Alert's Music Jam Recap

Hey Chobots,

Today was the Music Jam party, and man, it was awesome! First, we started off at the Music Stage, where a few Chobots preformed for us. We then all started to play together and listened to a couple of songs. It rained some Coming Soon items and there was lots of cool magic! At the very end of the party we moved outside so the juniors could join in and have fun.

Before Jake left, he decided to choose random people to give "Coming Soon" items to! I was the very first person and I received some red glass wings.

Creative Contest Winners and the Fashion Show!

Hey Chobots!

Much has been happening in the past few days on Chobots. As you may know, it is currently Black & White weekend and everyone is dressed up in Black & White! Today, the Chobots Team hosted a fashion show. There were many themes like Black & White, Blue & Yellow, Red White & Blue, Animals, and even Super Heros! There were many Citizen and Non-Citizen winners along with lots of magic.

The Fashion Show was so fun, and if you want to join in on the fun, there is a Party tomorrow at 6:00 PM at Cafe Street! Make sure to be wearing your Black & White costumes.

Also, awhile back there was a creativity contest and today they finally announced the winners! Each winner received a prize that matched what kind of project they did.

Black & White Weekend + Updates

That's right, this weekend is Black & White weekend! This is just a small event where Chobots are invited to dress up in Black & White. I've already seen many Chobots dressing up the best they can!

Also, there's been a few updates. First off, the Chobots Team has added the new Council Member badge to the Councillors and they also updated the Journalist and Forum Legend badges to a much cleaner style. Along with this update, the Chobots team added a new feature, Trade. In order to obtain this feature, you must buy the new Citizenship. This feature allows Chobots to trade ANYTHING even $hop items. Be careful when your trading! The new Trade button is located on the playercard, it is orange with a picture of a gift and a arrow.

Some Musical Chobots

On Wednesday, all through the day Chobots played their instruments and formed bands to try and win the contest of taking a photo or video of their band. Well, today those winners were announced! The Chobots Team has announced that there will be a Creativity Contest after they noticed all the talented Chobots online, for example there are Artists, Video Makers, and Writers! This contest will allow Chobots to show their talents and hope to win an awesome prize.

Chobots have to create a story about something that happened in the Chobots World. Chobots are more than welcome to use their imagination as the story can be pretend. Trees day

Exciting news! Today is Trees day! What this means all Chobots have to pay attention to the trees, and make sure they stay a certain color for a certain amount of time. This Trees day, we have to all work together to keep the Trees blue for at least two hours.

We only have 24 hours to do this, so we must work very hard. If we complete this challenge, we all get a special prize...we don't know what prize it is yet, but any prize is sweeeeeeeeeet! Agent Poll Results

After a long wait, the results are finally here. The Agent Poll has finally closed, with THREE winners instead of two. Agents are the people who help other Chobots with any questions they have about the game. They also protect Chobots from the horrible Nichos that come online and break the rules. These Agents are very trusted by the Staff and the Community. As a reward, they get access to the Agents Catalog in the Agents HQ. August Citizenship Items and Game Night Winners

August is finally here and the new Citizenship items are here! There are three Citizen ranks you can buy(all costing more than the other). There is Augustus Caesar, which is also where the name "August" came from. There is a very cool Personal Hover Vehicle. Lastly, there is the Poppy Peridots, which is probably my favorite! These new items are so cool, are you going to buy Citizenship this month? I know I will! Talking about new items, there are new items in the $hop! Let's just say, this month, has a lot of wings. All the Non-Citizen items are wings!

I really like the eagle wings, but the others are just as cool. The Butterfly Wings are actually magic, which makes butterflies fly all over the screen! There is also some new Citizen items, Chat Bubbles, and Playercard Items. These items are so cool, I wish I could have them all. Make sure to get the August Citizenship and Items while they are in stock, because both are there for a limited time only. Lastly, on to the Game Night Winners! Yesterday all the Chobots gathered and played games at Game Night, competing for the the very top place at each game. Only first place wins at Game Night though, making Game Night very hard to win.
